Mr. Reed's House (Heretic)

To run this level, you'll need:

1.  Either the modern DOOM source port like GZDoom or a copy of the original Heretic game for DOS (to run it from Windows, you'll also need the DOSBox program).
2.  The original HERETIC.WAD file (usually found in the Heretic game folder after you install it).

If using GZDoom:

1. Put the hmrreeds.zip file into the GZDoom folder.
2. In this folder, drag the hmrreeds.zip file onto the gzdoom.exe file.
3. When prompted, select Heretic IWAD and click "Play Game!"
4. In the game, select New Game -> City of the Damned -> desired difficulty.

If using the DOS Heretic version:

1. Unpack hmrreeds.zip to the game's folder (two files will appear, hmrreeds.wad and hmrreeds.txt).
2. Run DOSBox, mount the game's folder and navigate to it.
3. Run Heretic with the command line: heretic -file hmrreeds.wad
4. In the game, select New Game -> City of the Damned -> desired difficulty.
   

You will start the game in the Mr. Reed's House map, after which it will return to regular Heretic levels.
